Navel ring question!!?
Hey I’m Jess and I’m 16. I have a three month old navel that’s taking a while to heal. It’s pussing white clearish fluid, but does not hurt, and isn’t infected in any way. I have a surgical steel barbell in that I have not yet changed…and I know that it is definatley NOT ready to be changed any time soon. But I really want to change it to a white gold barbell because I think it might heat sooner if I do. If a went back to the piercer and had him change the barbell, would I be doing more damage or would my piercing really benefit from a change of jewelery?
If professional piercers or anyone with their belly button pierced please respond…no one else.

That sounds a bit like when I react to my jewelry. When I got my belly button ring, the piercer said it’d occasionally have clear discharge, but I don’t think puss is normal.
Best to go back to the place you got it done at and ask. They’d probably know best.
